Château du Grand Val is a wonderful little castle located in the region of Brittany on the French Atlantic coast. We have more than seven years of experience when it comes to hosting company conferences, kick-off gatherings, and other forms of business meetings. The entire castle with surrounding houses located on the estate can be rented by companies seeking a uniquely inspiring and creative environment.

Grand Val is also available to golfers, wedding parties, and to other groups who are looking for exceptional and exciting accommodations.

Welcoming around-the-year
Grand Val was the name of the knight who was the first known resident and owner of the castle in 1429. The main dining room, with its magnificent open fireplace, dates back to this time.

Located on high ground Château du Grand Val offers a breathtaking vista over pastoral landscapes and the small medieval village of Combourg. Grand Val is a relatively small and inconspicuous castle. Yet, we ensure the most charming and cozy environment any time of the year.

From chapel to conference room
Château du Grand Val's old chapel dates back to the 18 th century. It was wrecked by the German army during the Second World War but has since been restored to former glory. After more than six decades of decay, the chapel was opened again in August of 2003, and is now used for both weddings and conferences.
